We offer Premium and Rare Leaf Teas from the best Tea growing regions. Each Tea is subjected to various tasting and tests before it is added to our selection. IF WE WOULDN'T DRINK IT, WE WON'T SELL IT !
The majority of our teas are leaf grade. There are a few blends that are made with broken grade tea. Leaf grade teas are larger and infuse at a slower rate than broken grade teas. Using leaf grade teas allows you to use the leaves several times with out a loss of flavor.

ORGANIC - is a labeling term that denotes products produced under the authority of the Organic Foods Production Act. The primary goal of organic agriculture is to optimize the health and productivity of interdependent communities of soil life, plants, animals, and people.
FAIR TRADE TEA - The garden where the tea is grown meets specific standards for wages, living conditions, and working conditions for its workers. A Fair Trade Premium goes directly back to the tea workers themselves. A cimmittee, elected by the workers decides how the funds can be used to meet the needs of the workers, such as hiring School Teachers, Health Clinics, and bringing electricity to the villages.
ETHICAL TEA PARTNERSHIP- An inititative started in the Tea industry to monitor and regulate living and working conditions on Tea Estates around the world. ETP has regular external audits by Price Waterhouse Cooper.
University Lab tests found that compared to mass- market tea with antioxidant levels of 5.2% to 6.05% by dry weight, many of our tea were 7.5% to 17.5%. They are rated as
UHP-AT = Ultra High Polyphenol Antioxidant Tea 12.5% or greater
VHP-AT = Very High PolyPhenol Antioxidant Tea 10% to 12.5 %
HP-AT = High Polyphenol Antioxidant Tea 7.5% to 10 %
